Asoka Law is now hiring: Executive Director for the Asoka Creative Experimentation Fund

We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join us as the Executive Director of the Asoka Creative Experimentation Fund — a pioneering initiative under the direction of Asoka Law Firm, based in Ho Chi Minh City.

• Expected Start Date: August 2025

• Work Location: Asoka Office, Ho Chi Minh City

• Probation Period: 6 months
  (subject to early confirmation following performance review after the first 3 months)

• Reporting Line: Directly to the Founder of the Fund.

1. What is the Asoka Creative Experimentation Fund?

The Asoka Creative Experimentation Fund is a science and technology fund with a community-driven mission, founded and sponsored by Asoka Law Firm.

Our focus:

• Disseminating intellectual property (IP) knowledge to the public;

• Experimenting with and commercializing IP assets for businesses, individuals, and educational institutions;

• Building a sustainable and innovative IP ecosystem in Vietnam.

Please note: While community-oriented, the Fund does not operate as a traditional non-profit or non-commercial entity. Instead, we follow the principle:
“Create value – sustain resources – share knowledge.”

Financial Structure of the Fund:

• 20% from Asoka Law’s taxable income;

• 30% from partnerships with domestic and international science & technology funds;

• 50% from sponsorships by businesses, organizations, and individuals for specific projects.

2. Your Role

You don’t need to be a “super CEO.”
We’re looking for someone who:

• Can connect, coordinate, and harmonize operations across the system;

• Is adaptable, emotionally grounded, and comfortable in a growing, experimental environment;

• Brings positive energy aligned with innovation and IP values.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Fund Operations: Oversee day-to-day management and align activities with the Founder’s strategic direction;

• Project Coordination: Lead at least one IP-based product or platform within the first 6 months;

• Team Building: Recruit and guide a flexible, dynamic team;

• Monitoring & Reporting: Track progress, ensure transparency in budgeting and financial oversight.

4. Ideal Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in project management (in fields such as creativity, education, or community initiatives);

• Ability to connect with international funding partners;

• Strong skills in organization, reporting, and multi-party coordination;

• Emotional intelligence, flexibility, and self-direction;

• Fluent in both English and Vietnamese.

Preferred Qualities:

• Background or interest in IP, education, innovation, or creative industries;

• Forward-thinking, experimental mindset with collaborative spirit.

5. Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly salary: 12–18 million VND;

• 6-month probationary contract, with potential for early confirmation;

• Profit-sharing opportunities from IP products developed by the Fund;

• Mentorship from the Fund Founder and senior advisors;
